IPRM Sabah Chapter Conducts Its First CHALK Session

The Institute of Public Relations Malaysia (IPRM) Sabah Chapter convened its inaugural CHALK session, bringing together Sabah-based public relations practitioners involved in media campaign work. The session was organised by the IPRM Sabah Chapter and co-organised by Hello Sabah Media (Sri Pelancongan Sabah Sdn Bhd).

The session featured an intimate group discussion focused on elevating the public relations landscape in Sabah, including how industry practitioners can more effectively manage engagements for clients while balancing the needs of key stakeholders such as media, content creators, and out-of-home (OOH) suppliers.

As a newly established chapter in Sabah, currently chaired by Cassie Forsythe, the IPRM Sabah Chapter aims to foster more meaningful dialogues on a wide range of public relations and communications topics next year. Each CHALK session is designed to ensure participants walk away with practical insights and valuable takeaways.

CHALK is an initiative by the Institute of Public Relations Malaysia (IPRM), standing for CHatting, Listening, and Knowledge Sharing in PR & Communication. The CHALK series provides a platform for IPRM members and public relations and communication professionals to connect, exchange ideas, and share industry insights.

Among those in attendance were:
