Kota Kinabalu, 20 July 2025 – SugarBun X Pezzo marked the grand opening of its newest outlet at V21 KKIP today with a vibrant celebration, highlighting its commitment to bringing quality meals and warm experiences to the local community.
The event began with a warm welcome by emcee Boy Vanz from KupiKupi FM, followed by a welcoming speech from Ms. Eva Tawayan, Operation manager of SugarBun X Pezzo, who emphasized the brand’s commitment to serving quality meals while creating warm, family-friendly dining spaces for the KKIP community.
Guests were then treated to a Lion Dance Blessing by Kelab Tarian Naga & Singa Yi Nan at the entrance of the new outlet, symbolising prosperity and good fortune for the opening.
The celebration continued with a free-and-easy session featuring engaging activities, including a Photo Booth with SugarBun x Pezzo branding, allowing guests to take home photo strip souvenirs and a Plant-A-Pot Keepsake station, where they decorated and planted their own mini potted plants, symbolizing growth and community spirit.
Adding to the excitement was the Spin the Wheel activity, where guests stood a chance to win exclusive rewards, including vouchers from SugarBun x Pezzo V21 KKIP, limited edition Mini Sabacco bottles, and
tote bags.
Guests also received a Menu Combo featuring signature offerings from both brands:
- SugarBun: Sarawak Kolo Mee, Chicken Mushroom Claypot or Rasa
- Borneo Broasted Chicken
- Pezzo: Pizza – Hola Hawaiian, Island Fiesta or Big Daddy
