Competing in the only female bout at Byon Combat Showbiz 7, our Sumandak Sabah outclassed Indonesia’s Winona Karamoy across four high-energy rounds. With sharp precision, Emmabell earned a unanimous decision victory, handing the previously undefeated Winona her first career defeat.
State Recognition & Reward
In a proud moment for the state, Chief Minister Datuk Seri Panglima Hajiji Haji Noor met with Emmabell at the State Legislative Assembly (DUN) building to personally congratulate her.
As a mark of recognition for her international success, the state government presented her with a RM5,000 incentive. Hajiji expressed his immense pride, noting that her victory proves Sabah’s athletes can dominate on the world stage and serves as a powerful inspiration for the younger generation.
