Muslim marriage app, Muzz, goes on Tour

Muzz highlights the importance of meeting someone offline, while keeping it safe and Halal
for both parties.

The London-based Muslim marriage app, Muzz, announced their Malaysia Tour with a series
of events set to happen in four different cities around the country starting with Kota Kinabalu,
Melaka, Johor Bahru and finally Penang. This is the first time that Muzz is organizing events
outside of Kuala Lumpur with the mission of helping single Muslims around these cities find
their ‘jodoh’ the Halal way.

The Muzz Malaysia Tour consists of 2 parts – one being a collaboration with Mad Sabah, a
local stand up comedian who is also performing at these selected cities and the other being
a Muzz Singles event where users of the app are invited to attend our specifically curated
events to meet new people, make friends and do various activities together.

Muzz had organized multiple events in Kuala Lumpur over the past 12 months and received
great reviews from attendees. Pasar Single is an event where you meet and interact with
other singles through various activities, they also organised various Iftar events, a hiking event
and most recently a Hari Raya Open House.

Ilyani Alias, Southeast Asia Marketing Lead at Muzz said, ‘These events are curated in such a
way that singles feel more relaxed and comfortable even when meeting strangers for the first
time – while keeping it Halal. Typically the attendees will organise their own hangout session
after the event, over coffee and just get to know each other better as friends. We love seeing
that!’
