an embrace of authentic experiences, the Xplore Sabah Expo 2025 is the perfect
destination. The highly anticipated event returns for its second year at the Sabah
International Convention Centre (SICC) from 18th to 20th October 2025, coinciding with the
long Deepavali holiday weekend.
Building on its successful debut, the expo is dedicated to promoting the diverse tapestry of
Sabah’s tourism, with a focused objective on Sport, Adventure, Culture, Eco, and Education.

The 2025 edition is co-organised by a powerhouse consortium of MACEOS (Malaysian
Association of Convention and Exhibition Organisers and Suppliers) members from Sabah:
Instant Exhibitions, SoundsTech Production, Borneo Business Event, and Jumpa. By
combining their individual expertise in events, production, and marketing under a shared
vision, the team delivers a synergistic and impactful experience.

A Glimpse of the Curated Highlights at Xplore Sabah Expo 2025:
- Sekolah Bola Seminar & Workshop: In a significant initiative for sports development,
Jubilo Football Academy will lead a comprehensive workshop aimed at upskilling
local football coaches. The session will also cover crucial grant and sponsorship
know-how for managers of grassroots teams, empowering them to nurture the next
generation of Sabah’s football athletes. - Padang Kontena Under-9 Futsal Tournament: Following immense popular demand
from last year’s event, the junior futsal tournament is back and bigger. In
collaboration with Padang Kontena, the organisers are thrilled to announce that all
competition slots have been fully booked and are eager to welcome the young,
talented players to the hall. - Pickleball Social Hour: Get ready to try the world’s fastest-growing sport! The Sabah
Pickleball Association, in collaboration with JUMPA, will introduce visitors to
Pickleball through engaging, interactive social play sessions throughout the event. - Halloween Neon Night Run: Adding a thrilling twist to the weekend, Xmultisport has
crafted a special Halloween-themed night run. This glowing event promises a fun and
spooky experience for running enthusiasts of all levels. - International Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Competition: The BJJ Association will be on-site to
promote and host matches for an international Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu competition
scheduled for 19th October 2025, showcasing high-level athletic prowess.
Beyond the action-packed activities, the expo floor will feature a vibrant showcase of
Sabah’s finest. Visitors can explore and purchase a pride of Sabah products, from local food
and beverages to unique cultural crafts, carefully selected by the Department of Industrial
Development and Research (DIDR). The Sabah Tourism Board will also feature a special
segment on Community-Based Tourism, offering authentic travel experiences.
